Mogyoród, a village near the Hungarian capital, wanted proposals for its new cultural centre, what will give space for the active cultural life of the local residents. The former building of culture had been demolished and a new building replace the old one. A free standing supermarket with its flat roof closes the corner of the cluster, where the cultural centre also stands, in an unordinary way. The new cultural centre follows the logic of this free standing supermarket building and triangular outdoor spaces are created around the cultural centre. The new building is clad with recycled bricks and ceramic tiles of the old house of culture.
