Városliget is one of the first public park of Budapest. Unfortunatelly in the last 3 decades the condition of the park was getting worse and worse. The design of the new museum quarter on the area of Városliget was the task of the competition. The plan suggests, that the historic “great rondo” has to be the main axis of the project. Around this way all of the new and existing buildings can be placed. Between the museum buildings the park can be revitalized. Hopefully the park can get back ist vibrating condition.
