Provence 2018

It was 4-day trip with 4 people in the spring of 2018. It is worth to travel to Provence in spring, because in this time there are not so many tourists, but the weather is already good: the mornings are cool, but in the day it can be over 20°C. We traveled by train and we rented a car there. The accommodation was in Avignon (3 nights). On this trip we have seen a lot of cozy villages, amazing towns and interesting landscape [Camargue]: so the best of Provence.

16.03.2018 – Avignon

The trip starts at Zurich Main Station early in the morning. Go to Avignon TGV-station with one change in Basel [CH]. Rent a car there and drive to Chateauneuf-du-Pape, the famous wine region. Go further to Orange to see the old roman theather. [Tip: if you have time go also to Vaison-la-Romaine.] In the evening you can reach Avignon [photo].
